I sincerely hope she doesn't mind me letting you guys know but I know you all care and would want to know - she's pretty upset and may not have it in her to post here but

she was denied again

She needs all our love, strength, prayers if you are so inclined, whatever you got....right now....

we love you Amy......take some breaths and get your bearings about you and come back stronger than ever to fight and WIN this battle..

That right there got me through some of the roughest spots in my life, thus my garden window collection.  I spend more waking hours standing at my kitchen sink than anywhere else in my house, and my lil' froggers help me remember where to put my burdens when I'm feeling overwhelmed.  Re-group, and keep fighting!

So I feel VERY bad for Amy. I do not understand how this insurance approval/lack of approval  works. It obviously isn't a straight forward list of criteria and either you meet it or don't? If there is a list of criteria don't the insurers get the info consistently from the surgeon's office? How does an appeal help if the criteria is established and one doesn't meet it? It seems criteria must be vague. ((Amy))

 

Peach, Thank you for posting this.  Amy, you have been such a wonderful cheerleader and friend to all here let us do the same for you now!  I will keep you in my prayers that BCBS will wisen up and approve you soon.  I am so sorry to hear that you are having deal with so much crap from them.  Like the others said do not leave those people at BCBS alone let them know you are not backing down.  Sending you big hugs!  Love & Hugs!
